FAQ's - 901 Digital Input
 

1. What sensors (inputs) can I use with the digital input module?
Digital and/or contact inputs from 5V up to 50V can be used.

2. What else do I need anything else to complete a system?
The 901 Digital input module can be used as a standalone unit which would normally be permanently connected to a computer running data monitoring and control software. This module can be fitted with memory for complete standalone (no permanent computer connection) operation.
Alternatively used as part of a larger data acquisition, monitoring and/or control system with other 900 series modules. We are happy to supply complete fully integrated systems (including computers etc).

3. How do I install an digital input module?
All 900 series modules are designed to be easily installed. Normally the modules are wall mounted near the sensor/measurement area. All the documentation to fit the modules is included.
Alternatively we can supply installation as part of our package.

4. What Specification of computer is required?
Any computer that can run Windows operating systems 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP with a screen resolution of at least 800 by 600. As a general guide your computer should be less than five years old. We can supply a suitable computer as part of a system. Please contact us if you require more details.

5. Can I run the system on any Windows PC Software?
Windows operating systems 98,ME,NT,2000 and XP are all compatible.
