1. What sensors can I use with the 100 series thermocouple data logger?
The instrument currently supplied can accept J,K,T,E,R,S and N type thermocouples using standard miniature connectors.. Top

2. Can I export my recorded data and what in what format?
You can export your data to CSV (comma separated variable) which can easily be imported into applications such as Microsoft Excel. Format layout information is supplied. You can also use our direct Excel interface plugin which allows the user to easily develope custom reports.Top

3. Do I need anything else to complete the system?
The 100 series thermocouple data loggers are supplied as a complete package and only require the user to supply the thermocouples for the specific application. We are more than happy to help in the selection of appropriate sensors to meet your requirements. Please contact us for more information. Top

4. What Specification of computer is required?
Any PC (personal computer) that has standard RS232 support. Alternatively a USB adapter is available. As a general guide if your PC is less than 5 years old it will almost certainly be compatible. We can supply a suitable computer as a complete system. Please contact for more if you require more details. Top

5. What Windows operating systems can I use?
Windows operating systems 98,ME,NT,2000,XP and Vista are all compatible. Please note that windows NT does not support USB and is therefore incompatible with the optional USB adapter. Top

6. Can I record data directly to my computer?
The 100 series thermocouple datalogger can record continuously to a computer allowing infinite recording capability.Top

7. How fast can I record data?
All temperature inputs can have data logging times of 1seconds to 59minutes and 59 seconds. Just select the time increment required and run. All data displayed by the software, in real time, is updated every second independently from the logging interval. Top

8. How many readings can I take?
The 100 series thermocouple data loggers can store 10000 readings per channel in internal memory. This can consist of many individual program runs.Top
